How to Participate In Our CD Give-away
If you are an artist, musician or record label, we have an opportunity that will interest you. In exchange for three copies of your CDs, we'll set up a giveaway contest featuring your CD.
Here's what we need from you:
Contact us to let us know you are interested.
Three copies of your CD.
Two to be used as prizes. These copies should be new and still shrink wrapped.
One to be used for a review by one of our free lance writers.
Please include promotional information (Preferrably in email, image format) about your band or CD that you'd like to feature with our website. This might include
Pictures or logos
Biographical information
Articles / reviews
Links to web site
We reserve the right to select what information is presented.
We would also like to ask your permission to feature one free mp3 from your album on our Play Soca Music Live page. The selected track may be selected by you, or if you choose you may have us select a track to be posted. This is not an required option and it will not negate your promotion with us.
Contest Agreement.
Depending on current demand, your CD will be featured within the next one to three months. As soon as possible we will add your CD to our reviews page. When you provide us the two CDs for a free giveaway we will feature it for one month in any promotional way we choose. We will also promote your website throughout our website as much as we possibly can in our links section, articles is any, Play Soca Music Live, Surveys etc.
Minimally, your CD give-away page will include:
Link to your website
Link to your record company
One or possibly two mp3s
Brief description of the CD provided by you
Newsletter sent to our members regarding the CD giveaway
Your CD will be featured for one month. At the end of the month, we will select a winner based on the contest we run or randomly. We will handle shipping the CD to the winner.
At the conclusion of the contest, depending on space constraints, we reserve the right to remove all pages and mp3's associated with your CD from SocaMusic.com.
